APSIPA U.S. Local Chapter will organize a panel discussion on “The Future of Video Coding” at 6:00 – 7:00 pm PDT, April 24, 2021

This panel brings together the world’s leading experts in video coding to discuss “The Future of Video Coding”. Speakers are leaders from the various video coding fields, ranging from video coding standards, visual quality, deep learning approaches, screen content coding, reinforcement learning, rate-control, video coding for machines, and more. The panel will discuss and debate on different future issues, including but not limited to, the role for the academia, the trend and role of deep-based coding, the impact of visual quality, and emerging areas.
