APSIPA U.S. Local Chapter will organize a panel discussion on the “Future of Affective Computing”
Time: 11pm (Japan), 10pm (Taiwan & China), 7am (Los Angeles)
Date: October 16 (Saturday), 2021
This panel brings together some of the world’s leading experts in Affective Computing (AC) to discuss “The Future of Affective Computing”. The panel is composed of academic and industry leaders from two continents (Asia and North America), who have made key contributions in various AC topics. The panel will discuss and debate on different future issues, including but are not limited to, the trend and impact of deep learning for AC, the role AC in health applications, the issue of trustworthiness in AC technology, and how to better prepare for a career in affective computing.
